We will be continuing these prayer times thru the rest of this semester. We love coming together with the rest of the nation to pray for our campuses, but we want to continue the practice here at Penn with the same hope and vision of seeing God move here. Join us!

Event Information
1040 is an explosive documentary that focuses on the rapid changes in Asia and the significant shift of spiritual landscape in the area known as the “10/40 Window”- the regions between 10 degrees and 40 degrees North Latitude on the eastern hemisphere.
90% of the people between the 10 and 40 latitude do not know Jesus Christ. But thousands of Christians are rising up in these areas every day and God is using them in amazing ways, even as you are reading this. In the film, artist and minister Jaeson Ma takes us on an exciting journey through the Asian countries in the window, showing us the dramatic changes happening on the ground. We visit China, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Indonesia. Through incisive observations, intimate interviews with prominent leaders and celebrities, and powerful, never-before-heard stories, 1040 dynamically explores a part of our globe that is experiencing vast socioeconomic expansion and profound shift in identity- it is an area that is now nothing less than the frontier of world Christianity.

Our school has a vibrant Christian community, consisting of over 15 different Christian fellowships that minister to undergraduates, graduates, and staff/faculty alike. Rarely is there a day that goes by where you can’t find Christians students praying together, studying the bible together, or fellowshipping together on some niche on campus.
And we would love to help you get connected with this community!
A little bit about our group…
PennforJesus is a student-led group that brings Christians at Penn together for prayer, worship, and fellowship. Our goal is to be a catalyst to mobilize the whole body of Christ at Penn to reach the whole campus with the whole Gospel to redeem and transform the Penn community upon a foundation of unity and prayer.
We ourselves are not a fellowship but we hold a number of initiatives and events from which students from every fellowship come together in serving and reaching out to the campus. In the past we have had several weeks of 24/7 prayer, monthly campus wide worship, weekly service outreach, and our yearly Jesus Week celebration to name a few.
We are excited to be a part of what God is doing on our campus and partnering with Him in what He is doing here. You can find out more information about our group, past events, and other fellowships at Penn at our website. We are here to help you as you make the transition to university life.
